Categories of Personal Data
- Identity and contact data, data contained in the documents you upload for translation (identity, education, health, financial data), order and invoice data, payment transaction records, IP and cookie data.
Purposes of Processing
- Handling quotes and orders, performing the translation, tracking notary and apostille steps, invoicing, legal retention duties and customer support requests.
Legal Grounds
Your personal data is processed under Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK on the grounds of establishing or performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, legitimate interest and, where required, your explicit consent.
Transfers and Retention
Your data may be shared only to the extent required by the purpose with authorised public bodies and with the IT, payment and communication infrastructure providers we use; transfers abroad are made only in line with Article 9 of the KVKK. Data is kept for the period set out in the relevant legislation or, where none is stated, for as long as the purpose requires, and is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Special-category data in your documents (for example medical reports) is shared only for translation purposes with the assigned translator, who has signed a confidentiality undertaking, and is closed to access after delivery.
Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, learn which third parties receive it and object to its processing. Send your written request to kvkk@lisanova.com.tr; we reply within 30 days at the latest.
