Technical Translation

Engineer-background translators and terminology management for machinery, software, construction and energy texts.

From 580 TRY per page

In technical translation, units, standard numbers and consistent terminology are decisive. Your technical files are translated by engineer-background translators, and the same concept is written the same way throughout manuals and specifications.

Our fields

  • Machinery, automation and manufacturing manuals
  • Software interfaces, help files and API documentation
  • Construction specifications, quantity take-offs and progress payment documents
  • Energy, electrical and environmental engineering reports, CE and test reports

File formats

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, AutoCAD title blocks and PDF files are processed with translation-memory tools; repeated sentences are priced at a discount. Delivery is typeset to match the source file format.

For large projects a pilot-page translation is free; after you approve the terminology we move on to the whole file.

Quality control

In technical texts, figures, units and standard numbers go through a second check. Figure and table captions, abbreviation lists and the table of contents are also matched to the translation, so your manual is delivered ready for print.

Frequently asked questions

What is a sworn translation and who can do it?
It is a translation confirmed with stamp, signature and date by a translator who has taken an oath before a notary. Only sworn translators can make it.
How are prices calculated?
The price is set per 1,000 characters (without spaces) by language pair. Approval fees (notary, apostille) are listed separately per document. You can get an instant estimate with the price calculator.
How long does delivery take?
We work at 8 pages a day for standard, 16 for priority and 30 for express delivery. Documents of 1–5 pages usually take 1 working day.
Can I send a photo taken on my phone?
Yes; we accept a legible photo or scan with visible corners and no glare. Unreadable parts are reported to you at the quote stage.
Is notarisation always necessary?
No. Many institutions accept the sworn translator's stamp alone. Send us the institution's letter and we will confirm the required approval free of charge.
